Introduction:
Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a methodology used to improve business processes, based on the combination of two management ideologies, Lean and Six Sigma. Lean removes waste from the manufacturing process to maximise customer satisfaction, whilst Six Sigma improves quality and reduces the probability of defects and errors.
Learning Objectives:
- You will know the fundamentals and organizational structure of the Lean Six Sigma methodology
- You will be able to participate efficiently as a member of the 6 sigma project team led by Green Belts or Black Belts, providing experience on the process to be improved, collaborating in data collection and analysis.
- You will know how to apply basic tools and metrics for process improvement, following the DMAIC methodology, to improvements of low complexity, where the use of statistical tools is not required.
